Aurora Medical Arts

The Aurora Medical Arts Building was designed with the following design attributes: the exterior of the building was designed within the context of the surrounding residential buildings, with each medical-use area; reception/waiting and staff support areas; the physical therapy area, the radiology and laboratory area; the medical treatment area, consisting of nurses’ station, exam rooms and physicians offices – expressed as a house form. The exterior materials of the house forms, matched those of the surrounding houses in the area. All movement through the building has views to the exterior for patient orientation and a natural feel for patient comfort. Landscaping was also designed so that the parking areas cannot be seen from inside the building.
