As a result of the Facility Master
Plan, the Obstetrical Delivery Suite and the Obstetrical Nursing Unit were
identified as a project for renovation. The Delivery Suite has been
planned to include Normal Delivery Rooms, as well as
Labor/Delivery/Recovery Rooms. The renovated Postpartum Nursing Unit
has been planned to achieve a residential-like environment.
The
sixteen-(16)-bed unit includes: five (5) Labor/Delivery/Recovery
rooms, five (5) Semi-Private Postpartum rooms, and an Isolation Room. |
